Are you completely frustrated saying that
it just can't be done, or have you solved the problem and wish to
give the others the clue that gave you the answer? The clue lies in
your perception of the form that is created by the nine dots. When
you look at it, you more than likely see a box. And a box has boundaries.
And like you were taught as a child the first time you picked up a
crayon to color, "Stay inside the lines!" So when you looked
at the box you saw lines though there were no rules suggesting that
fact. The answer to this, and so many other, problems in life lies
"outside the box", like this:

The principle of "outside the box"
is at the core of my traditional work and that of Rhythmic Journeys.
Human beings do not always fit into a particular treatment modality,
respond as expected, only to get labeled a success or failure. Each
is on a journey with much to learn and unlearn. Learning requires
curiosity and gets reinforced with wonder. It requires safety and
a shameless learning environment. It requires a teacher whose passion
is education, discovery, and one who is able to endure failure and
see it as another opportunity for learning. We are all born a blank
slate seeing no lines and we all struggle to return to it. How do
I know that? Ask most adults to move improvisationally to a piece
of music! The result is painful...........
